• In 2009, Pullman Park became the home of the Butler Blue Sox, members of the Prospect League.

• Field Dimensions: Left – 357’, Center – 425’, Right – 325’. Free parking is provided for most events, with handicap parking and seating in the park. Kelly Automotive Park is a first class facility, with all the amenities of a professional ballpark, including a modern playing surface, modern broadcast and press box. The park features modern rest rooms, a large concession area and gift shop. Customer catering and conference/banquet rooms are available for your organization’s meetings, events and outdoor activities.

Pullman Park was founded when property was donated by Pullman Standard railroad car manufacturing company.

Former home teams include:

• Butler Indians (1935),
• Yankees (1936-42),
• Butler Yankees (1946-47),
• Tigers (1948-51).  

Notable players who played at Pullman Park were Whitey Ford from the NY Yankees and Joe DiMaggio. Josh Gibson from the old Negro leagues is said to have hit one of the longest baseballs ever at Pullman Park.Class D ball utilized Pullman Park from the 1930s into the early 1950s, during the heyday of the minor leagues. When the minors began to consolidate, they left Butler and Pullman Park became strictly an amateur field.  Local teams from the Butler County leagues and the Butler Eagle County League have played numerous games at Pullman Park over the years against the Cuban All Stars, Pittsburgh Crawfords and the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league affiliate. In later years Butler High School, the Prep League, and the Butler County American Legion utilized the ballpark for amateur baseball.
